Let's start with a basic step-by-step tutorial on how to find and make an adjustment using the built-in adjustments in Photoshop. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will use a picture of a red-orange banana as our example. You will first download the picture and make a selection for the red-orange portion. You will then make a choice of which adjustments to use.


Step 1: Open a new Adobe Photoshop file

Click on the File menu, and then click on Open. Click on the image that you would like to work on. Click Open. (Remember to click on the one you want to work on)

Step 2: Open Image Size Adjustment

Click on the Image menu, then select Image Size. Double-click on the icon that looks like a small window with an arrow pointing down inside of it. A menu will open with lots of options. One of those options is Select. Select the Create a New Size option.

Step 3: Select and Cut the area you want to make an adjustment on

To cut out the area you want to make an adjustment on, click where you want to start your selection. Click the Crop tool. Click the box in the middle of the screen that appears. Click anywhere inside the box that has lines around it. When you have selected the area that you want to make an adjustment on, press Ctrl and click on the box that is surrounded by a dotted line. The dotted line will disappear. Click inside the box that is surrounded by dotted lines. (The dotted lines stay with the box until you click outside of the box)

Step 4: Choose one of the adjustments you want to make

You may choose any of the adjustments you want to make using the Crop tool. Click on the Adjustments button. You should see an icon that looks

How to find the point belonging to a sphere for a given radius in OpenGL?

I'm trying to make a simple 3D projectile game. For this game, I'm using OpenGL for rendering. I know how to calculate the vectors from the center of the sphere and the direction of the player. I know the position of the cursor on screen after zooming to the bullet. What I'm trying to figure out is how to find out which point on the screen is the closest to the cursor position.


This is basically trigonometry.
If the radius of the sphere is r, the coordinate of the mouse location is p, then the point on the sphere closest to p is:
